Post 8: English Language Challenges
Hi everyone! this is my new post :D
My experience learning English at university has been
regular. I remember that the classes I had in English 2 were very bad, my teacher
made us few classes and we only had to send videos, in that year I didn't learn
much. Everything changed in English 3, my teacher was very good! In that course
I met the blogs and every week we had to publish one, as we do now in English 4.
I remember that my teacher made us see interviews of Jimmy Fallon to celebrities
and it was very entertaining, I think those in person classes would have been just
as entertaining, but I would have learned much more to talk. Currently in this course,
I think I have learned a little more, clearly it shows that there is another level
where we should know much more. I think that the faculty should promote the English
language more from writing to oral exams because what we are learning works, but
it is basic. They should teach us techniques that we can use in the presentations
of our careers, since the language is more specific.
Outside of classes, I try to read and watch movies or
series in English to practice, I also have the language of my phone configured,
so I learn much more. An app that my English teacher 3 recommended us to practice
is the Duolingo, it is a very simple app where they measure your level of English
and teach you according to what you know. I think that app has helped me a lot to
practice basic things, as well as words that I didn't know.

It is a problem that of the teachers, I am grateful to have a good base of English thanks to my teachers at school
